The Iris Society of Minnesota is a state-wide, nonprofit organization affiliated with the American Iris Society, and part of region 8, together with Wisconsin. Our purpose is to broaden interest and disseminate information about irises. ISM members conduct many activities to promote interest in growing iris:

• Operate AIS sanctioned iris shows

• Provide opportunities to purchase iris through sale and auction

• Create, plant, and maintain public and private iris display gardens

• Develop new iris

• Conduct local garden tours, trek to regional and national iris conventions and events

• Collect and distribute information about the history, classification, breeding, and cultivation of iris

• Conduct informative programs, maintain a speaker bureau, guide gardeners with Irisarian Program
